Hi, my name is Gary Petty. I’m a freelance graphic designer in Houston, Texas. I specialize in UI/UX design and front-end development, brand identities, print and web graphics, and photography. I'm also a capable copywriter and editor with extensive SEO/SEM experience (in a previous life I was an editor). I’ve worked with companies of all shapes and sizes, so contact me if you’d like to work together on your next project.
Fun facts
I’m a musician who plays at the Texas Renaissance Festival. I’m part of the band that provides the music for Shunyata Bellydance. If you’re at RenFest this year, stop by and say howdy!
I'm an inconsistently excellent bowler. My highest game so far is 285, and my lowest is ... sigh ... 62. I can do that fancy curve ball thing you see on TV though.
I once won a Halloween costume contest by wearing a TV on my head. I didn’t think my costume was that impressive compared to other folks' costumes, but apparently what set me apart from the others was that I lined the inside of the TV with blue LED lights to illuminate my face. Go figure.
