These prototypes were built completely by hand in MS Visual Studio and were intended to demonstrate aspects of homepage design that could not be adequately conveyed through static image mockups alone. They also proved useful to the dev team when the time came to incorporate these designs into the templates built into our CMS, d2admin.
Delta Q Responsive Homepage
This prototype formed the basis for the Fuller template I designed for our non-dealer clients. It was Driving Force’s first fully-responsive template (our previous responsive templates broke down to the tablet level, and then we used device detection to serve up a specially designed mobile website for cell phones).
No Setup Homepage
The No Setup Homepage was designed to give auto dealers a fully automated, “hands off” website that required virtually no regular maintenance or custom design. All elements were created at runtime, using data pulled directly from a dealership’s inventory feeds.
Mac Haik Auto Group Hub site
In 2016, Mac Haik Auto Group requested a redesign for their hub homepage that would allow customers to quickly select the dealership closest to their location. They also needed to be able to add or remove dealerships to the list without breaking the layout.
